Ein Kerem

Beautiful Ein Kerem village is about 20 minutes from the center of Jerusalem just down the hill from Hadassah Hospital and Yad VaShem Holocaust Museum.  It is full of ancient religious sites, gorgeous old houses, quaint cafes and great little shops and galleries to putter around in.  It is a slower pace here and is a great break  from the hustle and bustle of Jerusalem proper. Immediately you'll feel this village’s specialness, warmly welcomed by the lush greenery and bright flowers making the name Ein Karem (“spring of the vineyard”) duly apparent. This is a great way to spend the day or combine it with a visit to Yad VaShem.
