Come get a personal tour by one of doctors who helped plan the fantastic new underground surgery complex at Hadassah Hospital. It’s state-of-the-art and fortified against conventional, biological or chemical attacks. This great complex is just part of the soaring Sarah Wetsman Davidson hospital tower that was Hadassah’s gift to the people of Israel on the occasion of its centennial. The 20-story inpatient facility has 500 beds and 60 intensive care unit beds; departments of cardiology, internal medicine, orthopedics, urology, and obstetrics and gynecology; intensive care and intermediate step down units. Additionally, healing gardens, an expansive resource room, innovative patient rooms equipped with fold-out beds for family members, and the most advanced monitoring and imaging systems in patient rooms help ease the hospital experience for those who are ill. All of this is just another reason that Israel is continues to be at the cutting edge of medical care and research, here, in the country and throughout the world.
