Mount Bental is a must see on your next trip to the North!  It’s not surprising that it's one of Israel’s favorite mountain peaks to visit.  Not just because there are great panoramic views of the Golan and even Syria but also because Mount Bental was the site of a courageous battle fought during Israel’s war for the Golan.

A short drive up, the mountaintop provides both scenic beauty and a glimpse back at the past.  Visitors are able to go down into the old army bunker and explore.  But don’t forget a flashlight!  Before you head back down the mountain be sure to stop for a coffee at Café Anan and enjoy one last view! And don’t forget to check out the metal sculpture garden by Dutch artist Joop De Jong.
